Training Objective
Training on Credit and Collection skill development is expected to have multiple impacts on many areas of an organization. These may be on:

Course Coverage’s
Basic Credit and Collection Practices:
The course shall guide the participants for fair understanding of Credit, Collection and Receivable roles and system. This course is developed to introduce and enhance the skills necessary for credit, collection and receivable officers/managers in today’s business environment. Topics include credit policies, credit procedures, credit applications, telephone collections, cash applications, customer service and communications.

Basic Accounting:
The course shall aid the participants with a basic understanding accounting information at an appropriate level. The long-term goal of this course is to provide students with the tools necessary to interpret and use the information that they or others prepare.

Basic Law:
The course shall also cover general understanding of law and legal system in force with special emphasis to debt and collection management. Students will also discover the principles of commercial law regulating business and gain an understanding of legal responsibilities and consequences attached to business transactions.

  Mr. Mohammed Azizur Rahman Shuman carries with more than a decade’s involvement in banking. Mr. Shuman has proven expertise in credit assessment, risk management, portfolio management, investment analysis, process re-engineering for organizational growth opportunities. He is a creative researcher, problem solver, and financial analyst who strived for harmonized balance among business growth and risk management in banking business. His involvement in drafting risk/credit management standards, systems, processes, and policies with a view to augmenting employee competencies is really praiseworthy. He facilitated a number of training trainings programs in diversified area of finance, business and banking including credit rating, credit management, business management, financial management, financial modeling, financial analysis, risk management, project management, working capital management, BASEL accord, liquidity management, counterparty rating, anti money laundering etc. Mohammed Azizur Rahman Shuman has multi-disciplinary academic backgrounds. He completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology and post graduation in Business Administration (finance major) from Institute of Business Administration of Dhaka University. Along with external trainings, Mr. Shuman is involved in few business schools (IBAIS University, Presidency University etc) as adjunct faculties, where he used to conduct major courses of finance including financial management, financial institutes & markets, credit management etc. As a part of research initiatives, Mr. Shuman presented research papers in few international conferences including The Second International Conference on Statistics, 2015; Annual Banking Conference, 2015; International Conference on Urban Health, 2015 etc. his areas of research interests includes risk management, economic implication of NPL in banks, credit rating etc. As a part of expertise enhancement, Mr. Shuman is currently pursuing higher education in risk management and financial analysis. As a part of that, he already completed ‘Certified Expert in Risk Management’ from Frankfurt Business School. This year he passed Level I of CFA Exam.
