Training Objective
Did you know that more marketing budget is being spent behind events and activation, rather than going for the traditional ATL (Above the Line) marketing of TVs and Radios? Events and Activation are part of BTL (Below the Line) direct marketing, where you can target specific sets of consumers according to your product’s needs, design specific campaigns for them which would solve the need of the consumers, and communicate with them directly on an one-to-one basis. Several advertising and event management firms are here in Bangladesh, which provide fantastic career opportunities for fresh graduates, and also for people who want to switch career tracks.

Objective of this Training This program is designed to show the different methods of how to conduct a fantastic event, and how to tag the event with activation or brand promoter activities, and how we can gain more mileage from the event by tagging this with ATL media. The training will provide step to step methodologies for anyone who wants to become an expert event manager.

Don worked in the Fortune 500 Company - Philip Morris International (PMI) for 4.5 years and represented a PMI brand which is one of the top 10 global brands out of all product categories in the world. His expertise includes training people on leadership and team building, how to motivate people so that they produce explosive results, how to instigate positive thinking and attitude in the workplace, how to communicate and convince interviewer/customers/clients easily and effectively, and so on. Don has launched global PMI brands in Bangladesh, and was in charge of a 400 people brand promoter team along with 40 supervisors, making PMI brands one of the most well-known brands in this country. He was incharge of the entire recruitment, selection, grooming and implementation process of all these people.The Class Valedictorian 2008 from ULAB, Don also conducts career buildup classes in East West University (EWU), and in the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).
